The Great Unraveling
Tuesday, October 12, 2004

I just finished listening to the abridged version of Paul Krugman's The Great Unraveling: Losing our way in the new century. Krugman is an economics professor and New York Times columnist and seems to know his stuff. I'm sure that people with a different political persuasion would find a lot with which to disagree. but to my mind, the picture he paints looks about right: Things are worse in America now than they've been for a while and they are apt to get worse.

The book is well written and worth reading (or hearing) if you care about economics and, frankly, we should probably all care about economics more than we do!
