Climate change on the grid
Monday, February 14, 2005

Ars Technica has a brief interview with Dr. David Stainforth from the University of Oxford, the lead author of the recent study from climateprediction.net. It's interesting that the study gains some publicity just because it used distributed computing. I suspect that that won't matter much a few years from now. Of course, it's likely that most everyone is going to ignore this study just like they have ignored all the rest. In that case, we may all be too busy fighting to survive to care about distributed computing one way or the other.
