Ann Coulter and Jon Stewart on the other hand
Friday, September 17, 2004
Are scary and funny respectively in their interviews at Amazon.com. Favorites quotes:
Amazon.com: How important is this presidential election in the larger context of the Republic and its history?
Ann Coulter: Insofar as the survival of the Republic is threatened by the election of John Kerry, I'd say 2004 is as big as it gets.
This is also her answer for two other questions (out of six!). She also talks (apparently with glee) about crushing the Taliban and Al Qaeda (she must be missing some of the recent bulletins from Afghanistan and the rest of the world), North Korea, Pat Leahy and Carl Levin. I guess she just hates America or something.
Jon Stewart, on the other hand, knows that much of what we hear is, shall we say, a tad stretched.
Amazon.com: What would a Kerry administration mean?
Stewart: JOHN KERRY PLANS TO RAISE TAXES ON OUR TROOPS IN ORDER TO SUBSIDIZE FREE, GAY HEALTH CARE FOR TRIAL LAWYERS AND TERRORISTS.... THEN ABRUPTLY SWITCH TO THE OPPOSITE COURSE.
There are also interviews with Molly Ivins, Gore Vidal, and others. Now excuse me, I've got some papers to read on finding links in relational data.
